Ida Zarrabi is a passionate advocate of mental health matters within the Iranian-Canadian community. Ida is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario) and a certified counsellor with the in CCPA (Canadian Counsellor and Psychotherapist Association). She is an alumni of the University of Toronto with an honours bachelor of science degree in Psychology and Physiology. Ida has also completed an Addiction and Mental Health graduate certificate and holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Ida has many years of experience working in different hospital and community settings serving individuals with a range of mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and addictions. Ida also strongly supports the Iranian Mental Health Centre’s mission in raising awareness and spreading knowledge around mental health issues by facilitating workshops and events in an effort to reduce stigma while supporting individuals and their families in our community.
